Primarily, I'm motivated to make digital shrines to what I love, while learning a new skill along the way. I wrote a screed about website aura and recapturing the magic of user driven web design, but got self conscious and deleted it. In short, I'm a firm believer in personal webpages being just as ugly and janky as their webmasters want them to be. Fuck social media, and fuck the HOA-fication of the web.
